Tin Shui Wai taxi death classified as murder

Police have classified as murder the case in which a man's charred body was found inside a taxi in Tin Shui Wai yesterday.

 

Shortly before 5pm, Police received reports that a taxi was on fire in Sik Kong Wai Road, Tin Shui Wai. The burnt body was found inside the boot of the taxi after firemen put out the fire.

 

The identity and the cause of death of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

 

Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are proceeding.
