Hong Kong Police

A 28-year-old woman was found unconscious in Yuen Long and later died in hospital early this morning.

Police received a report at about 1.20am that the woman had collapsed outside Yuk Ping House of Long Ping Estate.

Officers rushed to the scene and sent her to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 1.48am.

She had a stab wound on her back near her neck.

The Yuen Long District Crime Squad is investigating.

Police are appealing to New Territories taxi drivers who picked up a man wearing dark clothes and trousers in Long Ping Estate earlier this morning to contact the investigating officers at 2442 0764.
