Police appeal to the public for information on an arson case in Mong Kok Tuesday morning in which a food factory was damaged.
At about 7am today, an explosion was heard from a food factory in a building at 7 Beech Street and a fire then broke out from the unit.
After the fire was put out, the unit was found completely damaged and charred. No casualty was reported.
A blue plastic container, capable of holding 20 litres of inflammable liquid, was also found at scene.
Three South Asian men, aged about 20, were seen fleeing the premises towards Ivy Street after the explosion.
Police are looking for the men who were of strong build, about 1.68 metres tall, with short hair. One of them was wearing a white shirt and one a black shirt and jeans.
Police appeal to medical practitioners who came across any suspicious South Asian men with burns or explosion-related injuries to contact the investigating officers at 6148 1196.
Anyone with information to offer or taxi drivers who may have picked up any injured men along Beech Street, Ivy Street or Anchor Street this morning are also urged to contact the Police.
