Police today reclassified a wounding case that occurred on Tsuen King Circuit yesterday as murder and arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the case.

The man called Police at about 10.50pm last night, to say his 28-year-old wife was found lying unconscious at their home in Tsuen Wan Centre, Tsuen Wan.

Police officers found the woman with serious injuries on her body. She was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital and was certified dead at 8.20am this morning.

A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow.

The husband was arrested yesterday and is still being detained for enquiries.

Tsuen Wan's District Crime Squad is investigating the case.
