Woman dies in Sham Shui Po crash

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 73-year-old woman was killed in Sham Shui Po.

 

Just before 6pm, a 45-year-old man was driving a medium goods vehicle northbound on  Hai Tan Street.

 

When it reached Yen Chow Street, the vehicle reportedly knocked down the woman as she was crossing the road. She was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre where she was certified dead at 6.06pm.

 

Kowloon West's Special Investigation Team of Traffic is following up the case. Anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has information to offer is urged to contact officers on 2773 5220.
