*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating the murder of a 36-year-old woman in Tsing Yi.

At about 1.30am, a man reported to the police that he had received a call from his relative claiming that he had killed his ex-wife in a flat at On Yun House of Cheung On Estate.

Police officers sped to the scene and found the 36-year-old woman lying unconscious on a bed.

She was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where she was certified dead at 2.19am.

A bruise was found on her neck and a post-mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.

The officers arrested the deceased's ex-husband, a 36-year-old man, at the ground floor of On Yeung House.

Tsing Yi's Divisional Investigation Team is looking into the case.
