At about 10.45pm, a female passenger inside a private car called Police to say she saw a man lying unconscious on Tung Ching Street near its junction with Ching Ping Street in Yau Ma Tai.

The man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at about 11 pm. Some tyre marks were found on the lower part of his body, raising fears he may have been run over.
