Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 67-year-old woman was killed in Tsing Yi.

Shortly after 7am today, a taxi driven by a 61-year-old man was travelling along Tsing Yi Road West southbound.

Reaching the junction of Tsing Yi Road West and Liu To Road, it reportedly knocked down the woman.

She was taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and certified dead at 11.50am.
