Woman killed in Tsim Sha Tsui accident

Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tsim Sha Tsui in which a 71-year-old woman was killed. 

 

At about 8.20pm yesterday, a bus travelling eastbound along Cheong Wan Road near Hong Kong Polytechnic University reportedly hit the woman. She had been pushing a cart on the road.

 

The woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious head injuries and was certified dead at 8.48pm.

 

Investigations by Kowloon West Special Investigation Team of Traffic are proceeding.
