Driver dies in Tuen Mun accident

A 36-year-old man was killed after he reportedly rammed his car into a stationery road maintenance vehicle in Tuen Mun this morning.

 

The accident occurred at about 2.10am as the man was driving in the New Territories-bound lane of Tuen Mun Road. The maintenance vehicle was in the second lane of Tuen Mun Road near Hong Kong Garden.

 

The man was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 7.10am.

 

The Special Investigation Team for Traffic, New Territories South, is looking into the accident. Anyone who might have seen it is urged to contact the officers on 2611 3200 or 2611 3320.
