Judicial changes highlighted in BL Bulletin
*
Department of Justice

The latest Basic Law Bulletin issue has been released with a special report on the basic institutional arrangements of, and changes to, the judicial system under the Basic Law.

Other topics include Basic Law cases on the protection of property rights (BL105) and a piece entitled Legco President's Decisions on Members' Bills.

The Bulletin, jointly prepared by the Department of Justice's Legal Policy Division and Civil Service Training & Development Institute, was introduced in 2001.

It aims to explain the key provisions of the Basic Law and summarise recent Basic Law court cases.
