Police are investigating a murder in Sheung Shui in which a 49-year-old man was stabbed.

Shortly before 11.40 last night, Police received a report from the victim that a man was attacking him with a knife in a residential building on Wo Lung Street.

Police arrived and found him with stab wounds to the abdomen and back. He was certified dead after being taken to North District Hospital. Police arrested a man at the scene, aged about 60.

Police said the victim went to the location to collect rent and a dispute arose, resulting in the knife attack.
