Police are investigating a traffic accident in Castle Peak in which a 27-year-old motorcyclist was killed.

Shortly before 2pm, a motorcycle travelling along Lung Kwu Tan Road towards Lung Kwu Tan lost control near a power station and crashed against the left-side kerb.

With serious head injuries, the rider was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at about 2.30pm.

People who witnessed the accident are urged to contact Police on 2677 6299.
