*
Hong Kong Police

Police have charged a 44-year-old man with murder after he turned himself into Sai Kung Police in connection with the death of a 64-year-old man found in Sai Kung Sunday.

The victim was found lying unconscious on an unnamed road at Nam Shan Village near Po Lo Che Road at about 12.30pm on Sunday. Police found injuries to his head and neck.

He was rushed to Tseung Kwan O Hospital and certified dead about an hour later.

Initial examinations found six cuts on his head and neck. A post-mortem examination was conducted yesterday.

Meanwhile, Police arrested the 44-year-old, who was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment for injuries to his left hand.

He was charged with murder and his case will be heard in his absence in Kwun Tong Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

The Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit is investigating.
