Heavy turbulence injures 9
*

The Civil Aviation Department is investigating an incident in which nine people have been injured and six others are feeling unwell after their Dragonair flight encountered heavy turbulence on route from Kota Kinabalu.

 

The plane was given priority landing and touched down safely at HK International Airport at 2.36pm.

 

Of the 250 people aboard, three passengers and six crew were injured and flown to Tuen Mun Hospital by helicopter.

 

Another six crew who felt unwell were also sent to the hospital by ambulance.
