Korean found dead in Tsim Sha Tsui

*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating the murder of a 57-year-old Korean man found dead in Tsim Sha Tsui today.

Shortly after 11.30am, a watchman made a report to the Police that an odd smell was emanating from a residential unit in a Carnavon Road building.

Officers found the body, partly covered by a quilt, inside a bedroom. His hands were tied with adhesive tape behind his back. A hammer was also found at scene.

Injuries were found to his head and it is believed he had been dead for about a week.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow to ascertain the cause of the death.
