Police are investigating a robbery in Sheung Shui in which a group of men rushed into a Sheung Shui trading company and stole $1.7 million worth of computer parts.

Shortly after 1pm, four or five men rushed into the company in Choi Fat Street and tied up the 63-year-old watchman.

They made off with computer parts and fled in a medium-sized goods vehicle.

The watchman then untied himself and called the Police.

About 3,000 computer hard disks and 300 LCD monitors were reported stolen. They are estimated to be worth about $1.7 million.

The Tai Po District Crime Squad is investigating.
