Swine flu outbreak closes school
*
Department of Health

TWGHs Kwan Fong Kai Chi School in Sham Shui Po will suspend classes for a week from tomorrow following a human swine flu outbreak, involving four students aged 7 to 15, and one staff member.

One of the students, an 11-year-old girl who has a chronic medical condition, is in serious condition. The Department of Health said she came down with a cough, fever and convulsions on January 20 and was hospitalised two days later. She had not been vaccinated.

The other patients are stable. The department urged parents to watch the health of their children and remind them to observe good personal and environmental hygiene.
