W Kowloon project exhibit re-opens
*

The exhibition of screened-in proposals for the development of the West Kowloon Cultural District will re-open at the Heritage Museum in Sha Tin from April 16.

The display will be staged at the museum's Thematic Galleries 1 & 2 until June 30. Representatives of the screened-in proponents will be on hand to explain their proposals to visitors.

The Government announced last month that the public consultation exercise for the project would be extended to the end of June.

More than 141,700 visits had already been recorded from December 16, 2004, to March 28, 2005, when the exhibition was held at the Science Museum and then the City Hall.

More than 23,380 comment cards and 350 written submissions have so far been received.

The exhibition will be open from 10am to 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to Saturdays; and from 10am to 7pm on Sundays and public holidays. It will be closed on Tuesdays, except public holidays. Admission is free.

For details call 2180 8188, or visit the museum's website or the project website.
