Part of the footpath on Jordan Road near its junction with Nathan Road will be closed from June 29 to facilitate improvement works to Jordan MTR Station, the Lands Department says.
It will be temporarily closed and altered for 19 months before permanent closure for the construction of a new external lift and related street alteration works.
During the construction period, pedestrian diversion will be implemented and a temporary footpath at least 1.5m wide will be provided.
Two notices on the road closure were published in the Government gazette today. A plan showing the affected area can be inspected at Yau Tsim Mong District Office and Kowloon West District Lands Office in Yau Ma Tei.
Anyone wishing to make a compensation claim should write to the Director of Lands at 20/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point.
