The Housing Authority has approved the proposal of selling the remaining surplus Home Ownership Scheme flats in one go.
These flats include those that remain unsold in the special sales exercise in April, and the remaining stock of 3,679 flats. A total of about 4,000 flats will be available for sale under phase six which is anticipated to be launched in June.
Detailed proposals on the pricing and other sales-related arrangements will be submitted for the authority's Subsidised Housing Committee's approval later.
The committee today approved the average selling prices for the 398 surplus HOS flats earmarked for a special sales exercise for the qualified households affected by the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link project.
The flats are located in five courts in the New Territories -Kam Fung Court in Ma On Shan, Choi Ming Court in Tseung Kwan O, Tin Fu Court in Tin Shui Wai, and Cheong Shing Court and Yung Shing Court in Fanling.
Their selling prices, after a discount of 30%, range from the lowest of $404,700 in Yung Shing Court, to the highest of $2,075,000 in Choi Ming Court.
