The fourth quarter saw eight pre-sale consents issued, the Lands Department says. Of them, five were for the sale of 3,885 residential units and three for commercial units.
Four residential developments in Wan Chai, Sha Tin, Sheung Shui and Yuen Long, comprising 2,469 units, will be completed between March and November. A Tseung Kwan O development involving 1,416 units will be completed in May 2011.
Of the three consents for commercial developments, one is situated in Wan Chai while the remaining two are in Kwai Chung.
At the end of December, 16 applications for consent to sell uncompleted residential units and two for uncompleted commercial developments were being processed.
The 16 applications involved 6,631 units, in which seven developments of 2,660 units will be completed this year, and six developments involving 3,778 units in 2011. The remaining three developments will involve 193 units.
