The Chief Executive in Council has approved the scheme for the sewerage works near Tsz Tin Road, at San Fuk Road and Tsun Wen Road in Area 54, Tuen Mun.
The works involve the construction of a sewage pumping station near the eastern end of San Fuk Road, about 1,100m of rising mains, and about 100m of gravity sewers and associated manholes.
The sewerage works will collect the sewage from the proposed sewerage system in Tuen Mun Area 54, the existing sewers of the nearby villages and the proposed Tuen Mun North Sewage Pumping Station, and discharge to the proposed sewer at Ming Kum Road.
Construction works, to be carried out by the Civil Engineering & Development Department, will start in 2012 for completion by 2015.
