The Government is planning to build a public landing facility at Lei Yue Mun, renowned for its waterfront ambience and seafood, to facilitate visitors' access by sea.
The construction will begin next year and be completed by 2012. The landing facility will be within an area of about 6,020 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed. The actual area of foreshore and sea-bed to be reclaimed is about 842 square metres.
The extent of the area affected is described in a notice published in the Government Gazette today. The plan can be inspected here.
People who believe they have an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20th floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, by December 23.
