LPG prices to rise up to 39 cents

*
Electrical & Mechanical Services Department

Liquefied-petroleum gas ceiling prices at dedicated filling stations will rise 38 to 39 cents in August, to $3.06 to $ 3.46 per litre.

The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department today said the adjustment reflects the movement of LPG international prices this month. Prices are adjusted according to a pricing formula which comprises two elements, the LPG international price and LPG operating price.

The international price is that of the preceding month while the operating price is adjusted on the first day of February every year according to movement in the Composite Consumer Price Index in the previous year.

Information on LPG stations and prices is available here.
