The second quarter saw 12 pre-sale consents issued, the Lands Department says. Of them, eight were for the sale of residential units and four commercial.
The residential developments involved 2,454 uncompleted units, including 251 in two Kowloon developments and one in Tsuen Wan set for completion between October and December.
Four other developments are located in Kowloon and one in Tsuen Wan, comprising 2,203 units which will be completed from May to November next year.
Of the four consents for commercial developments, two are in Kwun Tong, one at 483 Castle Peak Road and the other at 1 Wang Kwong Road, Kowloon Bay.
Two consents to assign residential units were also issued in the quarter, involving 500 units in Kowloon and 2,096 in Tseung Kwan O.
At the end of June, 15 applications for consent to sell uncompleted residential units and one for uncompleted commercial developments were being processed. They involved 8,301 units in which three developments of 94 units will be completed this year, 10 involving 7,162 units will be completed next year, and two involving 1,045 units in 2011.
