Flat sales rise 20.5%

Land Registry

The number of sale and purchase agreements for all building units received for registration in June was 15,747, a 20.5% increase on May and 32.6% up on June last year.

 

The 12-month moving average for June was 8,067, up 4.2% on May but 38.5% down on June last year.

 

The Land Registry also announced today the total consideration of agreements in June was $58.2 billion, a 32.2% rise compared with May and a 1.2% year-on-year increase.

 

Among the agreements, 13,805 were for residential units, up 17.1% on May and 35.3% year-on-year.

 

The total consideration for these residential agreements was $49.7 billion, a 26.1% increase on May but 1.4% down on June last year.

 

The public made 485,475 land searches in June, up 21.3% on May and 22.4% on June last year.
