Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng will visit Singapore November 12 to 14 to discuss public housing, transport infrastructure and logistics development with senior officials and business executives.
She will call on Minister for Transport & Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Raymond Lim and Senior Minister of State for the Ministry of National Development & Ministry of Education Grace Fu.
She will also meet Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Zhang Xiaokang and speak at a luncheon co-organised by Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office (Singapore) and the Hong Kong-Singapore Business Association.
Ms Cheng will be briefed on the city-state's public housing policies, development and design and will visit residents in Toa Payoh Town.
She will then tour the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority's Tuas Checkpoint to see its clearance systems for travellers, baggage and cargo, before visiting Singapore's leading port operator PSA International and touring Pasir Panjang Terminal.
Meeting Land Transport Authority officials, Ms Cheng will be briefed on Singapore's public transport infrastructure plans and development before touring the Logistics Park and Terminal 3 in Changi Airport.
She will be accompanied by Deputy Secretary for Transport & Housing (Housing) Annette Lee.
