Secretary for Constitutional & Mainland Affairs Stephen Lam and Secretary for Development Carrie Lam will meet with Sichuan officials in Chengdu on October 11 to discuss post-quake reconstruction work.
Mrs Lam will also attend a working meeting and conduct field visits to reconstruction projects with the Hong Kong Construction Sector 5.12 Reconstruction Joint Conference members.
Experts from both sides will follow up on the detailed arrangements regarding Hong Kong's participation in the post-quake reconstruction efforts, and exchange views on project items.
