The Lands Department proposes reconstructing a 20-metre seawall along the Aberdeen Sewage Screening Plant's southern boundary to build a seawater intake for the harbour area treatment scheme.

The proposal was gazetted today and works will start in 2010 for completion in 2011.

Written objections should be sent to the Lands Department by October 8.
