Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Mak Chai-kwong will lead a delegation to attend Singapore International Water Week and the Water Leaders Summit.
The delegation includes Water Supplies Department and Drainage Services Department officers.
The event provides a global platform for policy makers, industry leaders, experts and practitioners to address challenges in the water industry.
Mr Mak and Director of Water Supplies Ma Lee-tak will then attend the Water Leaders Summit to discuss the delivery of water solutions through sound policies and practices, effective governance and implementation, and investment in technology and innovation.
Mr Mak will also speak on Hong Kong's water supply and drainage strategy, and introduce the city's major water projects to international consultants, contractors and industry leaders.
The delegation will pay technical visits to water treatment and management facilities which have applied advanced technology in seawater desalination and water reclamation.
Mr Mak will return to Hong Kong June 26.
