Yuen Long roads to be upgraded
*

Sections of Tin Ha and Tan Kwai Tsuen Roads in Yuen Long will be upgraded to accommodate the area's growing traffic, the Transport & Housing Bureau says.

The proposed works include widening Tin Ha Road between Ping Ha Road and San Lee Uk Tsuen, and Tan Kwai Tsuen Road. Their footpaths and bicycle tracks will be modified while landscaping, drainage and utility works will be conducted, and noise barriers erected.

A notice on the upgrading works was gazetted today. People can inspect the plans and project scheme at the Yuen Long and Central & Western District Offices, and Yuen Long District Lands Office.

People wishing to object to the proposal can write to the bureau at 16/F Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, by July 15.
