The next auction of  244 approved personalised vehicle registration marks will be held on March 1 at the Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The reserve price for each is $5,000. Applicants who have paid a deposit of $5,000 should bid, otherwise the mark may be sold to another bidder.

Buyers must make payment by crossed cheque and complete the memorandum of sale immediately after the bidding. The particulars in the memorandum can not be changed afterwards.

Upon the transaction's completion, a receipt and certificate of allocation to prove ownership of the mark will be issued.

Potential buyers of vehicles bearing a mark should check the certificate of allocation with the sellers and pay attention to the details. For transfer of vehicle ownership, the certificate together with other required documents should be produced to the department for processing.
