Eva Cheng tours Shenzhen Airport
Airport arrival: Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng tours Shenzhen Airport.
*

Specific work plans boosting closer ties between Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports will be formulated early next year, Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng says.

Ms Cheng toured facilities at Shenzhen Airport today and met with Shenzhen Vice Mayor Zhang Siping to discuss the preparatory work for setting up a joint task force.

The task force will explore the feasibility of a rail connecting the two airports and other areas of co-operation to enable the airports to fully complement each other.

Ms Cheng said she was pleased with the progress of the preparatory work and thanked Shenzhen officials for their support and efforts.
