The Lands Department will resume 116 private agricultural lots with a total area of about 16,453 square metres in Tai Po in the vicinity of Upper Lam Tsuen River, She Shan River and Upper Tai Po River, to undertake river-improvement works to alleviate the flooding problem there.
The project is scheduled to begin September for completion in April, 2011.
A notice for the land resumption was published in the Gazette today.
