Roadside slopes to be upgraded

Highways Department

The Highways Department has invited tenders for upgrading and improvement of roadside man-made slopes and retaining walls in urban areas.

 

The works for one project include the improvement and upgrading of 48 man-made slopes and retaining walls in Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island. Works for a second project comprise 46 man-made slopes and retaining walls on Hong Kong Island.

 

Works for the first project begin in December and will take three years to complete. Works for the second will begin in November and take 31 months to complete.
