The Transport Department has awarded two contracts worth $39 million and $41.5 million to PCCW-HKT Telephone for providing telecommunication services for traffic control and closed-circuit television systems.

PCCW-HKT Telephone will offer communication links for on-street traffic signal control and closed-circuit television control equipment.

The services will last for two-and-a-half to five years.
