Central Pier No. 9 to open
*

Central Pier No. 9 will open to the public April 26. Adjacent to the new Central Star Ferry Pier, it provides six sets of public landing steps, taking over the role of Queen's Pier. The onshore facilities of Queen's Pier, however, will remain available for public use.

There is also a newly built covered walkway linking Pier 9 and the Central Terminal Building. Appropriate signage at Queen's Pier, nearby roads and footbridges will be provided to direct pedestrians and drivers to Pier 9. Public transport facilities near Pier 9 will remain unchanged.
