Bridge task force starts work
*

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Task Force held its first meeting today in Guangzhou to examine the key issues that must be resolved by the group and the specific steps to take further the advance work for the bridge.

 

The meeting was chaired by the task force head and Vice Chairman of National Development & Reform Commission Zhang Xiaoqiang.

 

Members were briefed by the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Advance Work Co-ordination Group on the progress in taking forward the advance work.

 

Other task force members who attended the meeting included Secretary for the Environment, Transport & Works Dr Sarah Liao; Vice Minister of Communications Weng Mengyong; Deputy Director of the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office of the State Council Zhou Bo; Executive Vice-Governor of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government Tang Bingquan; and Macau's Subdirector of the Land, Public Works & Transport Bureau Chan Hon-kit.
