Slope safety exhibition to open
*
Civil Engineering & Development Department

The Civil Engineering & Development Department will stage a four-day exhibition on slope safety and maintenance at Hing Wah 1 Shopping Centre, Chai Wan, from September 21.

 

Open from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition will convey messages to visitors about the importance of slope safety and proper maintenance of slopes through display panels, a video show and an information kiosk.

 

Information on landslip warning messages and signs, evidence of landslip danger and precautionary measures will be on display.

 

A geotechnical engineer from the department will meet the public from 2pm to 5pm on September 23  to answer questions.
