Exhibition to showcase achievements of highways work

Display panels

Informative panels: Display panels will be set up to introduce the Highways Department's efforts in highway planning, construction and maintenance, railway development, environmental protection and streetscape enhancement.

The Highways Department 20th Anniversary Roving Exhibition will be held from June to August, presenting the department's achievements in the past 20 years.

 

The exhibition will open at the City Hall's Exhibition Hall today and run until June 4. A series of exhibitions will follow in Tsim Sha Tsui, Sha Tin and Tuen Mun. Admission is free.

 

The exhibition will introduce the department's work in highway planning, construction and maintenance, railway development, environmental protection and streetscape enhancement.

 

Models will be displayed to show recent major highway infrastructure, application of dynamics in bridge design, and different materials used in highway construction.
