HK, Guangdong to sign planning study deal
*

Hong Kong and Guangdong will sign a co-operation agreement on the Greater Pearl River Delta Planning Study, as the expert group on town planning & development under the Hong Kong/Guangdong Co-operation Joint Conference holds its second meeting in Zhuhai Thursday.

Permanent Secretary for Housing, Planning & Lands Rita Lau and Director of Guangdong Provincial Department of Construction Lao Yingxun will sign the agreement, in the presence of Secretary for Housing, Planning & Lands Michael Suen and Guangdong Provincial Government deputy secretary general Tang Hao.

The meeting will discuss the planning study on the co-ordinated development of the Greater Pearl River Delta Township and the Hong Kong/Guangdong Urban Planning Information Hub.

The expert group held its first meeting in November last year.
