*
Convention & Exhibition Centre
Changes coming: Temporary marine piles will be installed to build a new atrium link at the Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Trade Development Council will install temporary marine piles in Wan Chai to build a new atrium link at the Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The work will affect 16,000 square metres of foreshore and seabed. A notice describing the area affected was gazetted today. The work starts next March for completion in early 2009.

A related plan can be seen at the Lands Department Survey & Mapping Office, 23/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, and the Public Enquiry Service Centre, Wan Chai District Office, G/F, 2 O'Brien Road, Wan Chai.

Objections should be sent to the Director of Lands, 20/F North Point Government Offices by December 21.
