The Town Planning Board has announced amendments to the draft South West Kowloon Outline Zoning Plan.
The amendments involve the rezoning of the site bounded by Sham Mong Road, Hing Wah Street West and West Kowloon Highway from "Comprehensive Development Area" to "Residential(Group A)9", "Government, Institution or Community" and "Road" to reflect the existing and planned uses.
The notes of the plan will also be updated to clearly spell out the development restrictions for areas designated as "Residential(Group A)9" sub-zones and be in accordance with the refined Revised Master Schedule of Notes to Statutory Plans.
The draft South West Kowloon OZP No. S/K20/17 incorporating the amendments is now available for public inspection during office hours at the following locations:
* Secretariat of the Town Planning Board, 15/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point;
* Planning Enquiry Counter, 17/F North Point Government Offices;
* Planning Enquiry Counter, 14/F Sha Tin Government Offices, 1 Sheung Wo Che Road, Sha Tin;
* Tsuen Wan and West Kowloon District Planning Office, 27/F Tsuen Wan Government Offices, 38 Sai Lau Kok Road, Tsuen Wan;
* Sham Shui Po District Office, G/F Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, 303 Cheung Sha Wan Road, Sham Shui Po; and
* Yau Tsim Mong District Office, G/F Mong Kok Government Offices, 30 Luen Wan Street, Mong Kok.
Anyone affected by the amendments can submit a written statement of objection to the Secretary of the Town Planning Board by November 11.
Copies of the plan are available for sale at the Map Publications Centres in North Point and Yau Ma Tei. An electronic version can be viewed from the Town Planning Board's website.
