Civil Engineering & Development Department

The Civil Engineering & Development Department will stage a seven-day exhibition on slope safety and maintenance at Hong Kong Baptist University's Academic Concourse in Kowloon Tong on October 10.

The exhibition aims to enhance public knowledge of the history of landslides, the slope-safety system, and the importance of slope maintenance and landslip warnings in Hong Kong.

Open from 10am to 6pm, the exhibition will feature slope maintenance and slope safety through the display of colourful illustrations and photographs.

Enquiries on slope safety and slope maintenance can be made by calling the Citizen's Easy Link ,1823. Members of the public are also welcome to browse through the Hong Kong Slope Safety Website for slope safety information.
