A total of 146 landslides and 33 flooding reports have been received since the landslip warning was issued August 19.
The Geotechnical Engineering Office urges people to stay away from areas with landslip signs and report them to Police.
In the past three days over 120 geotechnical engineers conducted emergency inspections and repairs to affected slopes. Once the slopes are confirmed safe, the closed areas will open.
The office said it is implementing the Landslip Preventive Measures Programme, which provides for the investigation of man-made slopes in a risk-based priority order.
Since 1977, the Government has completed the stabilisation works of about 2,700 man-made slopes.
