Traffic talk: Emergency Transport Co-ordination Task Force members Professor Lo Hong-kam and Herbert Hui inspect an incident site on Prince Edward Road East with chairman Teresa Cheng.

*

The Task Force on Emergency Transport Co-ordination is seeking views and suggestions on the serious traffic congestion that occurred on May 9.

After visiting transport co-ordination centres and incident sites today, task force chairman Teresa Cheng said feedback received will be considered by the body to improve the emergency transport co-ordination framework.

"We have sent letters to professional bodies, academics, transport trade operators and associations, telecommunication companies, media and district organisations to invite their views," Ms Cheng said.

It aims to submit a report to the Government by the end of June, and views can be faxed to 2104 7274 or emailed to taskforce@etwb.gov.hk by June 2.
