Ho Chung Channel to be upgraded
*

The Ho Chung Channel drainage system in Sai Kung will be upgraded in a three-year refurbishment. The proposed works, gazetted today, will affect about 10,500 square metres of the channel's foreshore and seabed, and will start early next year.

A notice describing the extent of the area affected has been published in the Government Gazette, and is posted on notice boards near the site. It is also available for public inspection at the Lands Department's Survey & Mapping Office, 23/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road and the Sai Kung District Office, 2/F Sai Kung Government Offices, 34 Chan Man Street.

The public can submit comments and objections to the Director of Lands, 20/F North Point Government Offices by July 13.
