The Government proposes to close a portion of Yan Ching Street in Tuen Mun to facilitate road works for the future West Rail Tuen Mun Station property development.

Part of the Yan Ching Street footpath and road will be closed permanently and, during construction, closed temporarily to facilitate its conversion from a one-way public road to two-way private access. After the proposed permanent closure, 24-hour public access will be maintained.

The road works also include construction of a footpath and vehicular access, and 24-hour public access will be opened.

A notice concerning the proposed works is published in the Gazette today.
