In the first two months, the Lands Department received and was processing two applications for land exchange and 16 for lease modification.

There were no applications received and under processing for private treaty grants during the same period.

The department today released statistics on applications for land transactions. The information will be updated in future on a monthly basis.

Information relating to unsuccessful applications for land sale is also now available on the Lands Department's website for the first time. In February, there were no unsuccessful applications for land sale.

The new information is scheduled to be updated in the middle of each month together with all other existing monthly land transaction statistics.
